About Me

My name is Grazyna Froehlich and I live in Petersburg Alaska.
I have been sewing since I was a little girl growing up in Warsaw Poland. I love sewing and used to make all my own outfits as well as my daughter Izabela's. When I came to America and married my husband Tom in 1991, I continued my love of sewing by opening a tailoring business called Tiger Tailoring. You have probably guessed by now that I love Tigers. As my business continued to grow I became interested in Quilting, and in 2004 acquired my Gammill which I promptly named "Tiger". I feel that now I have finally found the thing in life that I really love doing. I have always had artistic abilities, I loved to draw when I was little, and have dabbled in painting, stained glass, rosemaling and stenciling. But when I discovered quilting I knew this was "it" for me. It is so challenging and rewarding for me to quilt the beautiful tops brought in to me by my customers. I try to let the quilt ''speak'' to me so I can find an appropriate design to make everyone's quilt a unique masterpiece. My goal is to work with my customers and return something to them that they can be justifiably proud of. I treat every quilt as if it were my own, but always make sure that the quilt itself is the star of the show, and my quilting designs just help to bring out he beauty of the owners project.
